Only choose teaching if it something you really desire to do. It can't be a "oh that sounds fun," type of job. It is an emotionally and mentally draining profession, and the majority burn out in the first 5 years.As for getting a job...I'm not sure about where you live. I've never had trouble getting a job (of course I only did it for a few years.) If you can't land a teaching position right away, there are often other job opportunities in the same general field, temporary and long term alike....substitute teaching, mentor/tutor, activity coordinators, etc.
