In my experience, none.The number one lie is, "Someone else is interested, so if you want to make an offer you had better do it quickly." Don't bite, Billy! It's always a lie and learned selling strategy.

i'd have to say they're somewhat more honest than a used car salesman... but that's because of the consumer protection laws enacted to shield homebuyers from disreputable agents.case in point: about a year ago, a dishonest realtor in berks county, PA was convicted of bilking his clients to the tune of tens of millions of dollars... a lot of working people lost everything because of his shenanigans.
he was sentenced to 15 years in the state penitentiary - "hard time" at the Camp Hill state prison.
i've never heard of a used car salesman going to jail.
