Question #1:

Fable 2 Real Estate-question?

How come the people of Albion (if I may call 'em that) seems to like me LESS everytime I get my income from real estates... Sorry if my english is bad

Everytime they're close to me when I get my money, they get a 5+ Dislike... WHY?

Question #2:

may an UN-licensed real estate salesperson legally solicit listings over the phone?

real estate sales license, mass state law portion.

Question #3:

Does anyone remember those Lookie Loo Commercials that ran in the late 1970's?

I remember they were ads for a real estate company, I remember a song, "International Real Estate Network." Does anyone else remember them and what happened to the real estate company. Where did they all go? They ran a lot here in Los Angeles.
They must have gone out of business during the Savings and Loan housing crisis during the mid 1980's. But i was wondering what happened. I remember one of their office in Canoga Park have the cutest lookie loo cartoon in their window.

Question #4:

What's a good idea for a new haircut/style for me?

and no, i won't post a picture, sorry too many pervs out there.
i'll describe myself though. i have midback auburn hair. it's pretty thick. i have regular bangs (not side swept) and face framing layers that have grown out. the shortest face framing layer is about 3 inches below my chin. i have a 5 head (big forehead) and i wanna keep my bangs how they are, but i'm not totally opposed to changing to side swept bangs.
i did the whole bob thing, and it was supposedly cute, but i just like long hair.
my hair is stick straight and doesn't hold curl unless i use half a thing of mouse/hairspray and 3 hours of time. (to curl all my hair)
i need a hairstyle that takes about 15-20 minutes to do in the morning. if it takes longer than that, i'll just end up putting it in a ponytail everyday.
also, i'm looking into a career as a real estate agent, and because of my age (i'm 18) my mom says that no person in their right mind would buy a house from a teenager... so maybe this haircut will make me look a little bit older, but still be cute.
here are some hairstyles i like... ish...

problem with that one, the bangs, i doubt she can see and seeing is one thing that i kinda like doing... my hair is about her color though.

i like that one cause of the layers. however i'd get it to be about shoulder length.

Question #5:

How could I begin real estate investing online?

I have just started to learn about real estate online. I want to know how I could create a real estate investing business online. I want to build my business with none of my own money and none of my own credit. Because I'm real low on both currently. I also want to know how to find a true mentor or a program to enhance my uptake of the business. I would like to learn hands on or via video's. I want to get directed so that I can create income regardless of my location as I travel around the country. Thanks in advance if you could share some wisdom about this need.

Question #6:

Should I move to Australia or stay in America?

I am planning on getting my BA in biology and then attending medical school. I live in socal and have already completed nearly all of my GE requirements to transfer from a community college to a 4 year university. The pros for staying in the states I feel are that I KNOW I will get into some medical school as long as I move out (I live at home and I am living in a very bad situation. I become depressed and suicidal at times over the way things are. I HAVE to leave this toxic environment) and prepare for the MCATs. That is my main pro for staying, I am assured an education and I can see my path from where I stand. The pros for Australia are that love is there for me. My grandmother aunt uncle cousins and the brother I found and didn't know I had is there along with his newborn son, but mostly my grandmother. She raised me and the only happy memories I can muster involve her. She's not too old only 62, but I would regret it forever if I went off to medical school in the states and was never able to spend time with the only person who has ever shown me any love. Not to mention the cousins and my brother and the rest of my family who want me to be with them. Another pro is that my aunt and grandmother will help me, they will buy me a car and take care of me while I go to college and they have connections all over the country. On the logical side there is a smaller gap between the upper and middle class in Australia, and this will affect my career and marriage. Making money is easier there, my family lives in a mining town and are heavily invested in gold , real estate, uranium and even own a race horse. When I move there they want me to get involved in their investments. The cons for Australia is that I wont be as sure of my medical career. I will have to apply to one of the few universities the country offers and then 3 years later when I'm 23 I'll apply to medical school. I just worry about being able to get into a university there at all since I have American high school transcripts. Another con is that I want to eventually come back to America to practice as a surgeon and I wonder if an Australian degree will be acceptable. Please, any insight? What would you do in my shoes?
also, I'm an Australian citizen so I wont have to worry about a visa

Question #7:

There are many Americans moving to Mexico and buying up real estate. Should Mexico deport them to the US?

Most are going on vacation and deciding to stay or retire there. In a sense being 'illegal aliens' in Mexico.
What if Mexican police began racially profiling whites, and deported them if they were undocumented?
@yes we can - lol, do you have a tv? Watch HGTV. You'll see programs on Americans buying real estate in Mexico.
I personally have a white friend that bought a huge home near the Yucatan peninsula. Says he'll never come back.
Jees, you guys must be getting your info from Fox News.
Americans CAN buy real estate in Mexico. Only Mexican citizens can own land within 2 miles from the ocean.
Look it up, a$$hats.
@Sugar Bear - they probably are not as big a drain on Mexico as they are in the US.
After all, most people on welfare in the US are white American citizens.
The truth hurts, doesn't it?

Question #8:

Which of these minors do you think would go best with an accounting major?

Finance, Real Estate, Marketing, Management, Information Systems, or Economics?

Question #9:

I am a real estate agent. Why do I have so much trouble making any income at the moment?

I show property and take calls all week long even on weekends. I cant get any deals to go through. What do you suggest is the best solution?

Question #10:

What kind of lawyer handles harassment caused by HOA that is ruining my life?

I am a retired nurse and have lived my life with Narcolepsy and with medication I was able to graduate from nursing school, keep a home, work as a nurse, be a Mom, daughter and wife, etc.

In 2006 I asked the person who managed our condo to lift one stone in my sidewalk that was lifted by the previous management company and it solved the problem of ice forming there. To my amazement the entire sidewalk was replaced. At that time I was annoyed and asked the management person why she would replace a perfect sidewalk when I wanted one stone lifted.

Since I asked that question about why she replaced my sidewalk, I have been harassed by the HOA and management company and I have gotten fake fines, no answers to my emails, many things that need to be addressed are not. We are not able to call our board members so I cannot seem to get anything solved since the mgm. person and her husband who owns the company will not reply to my emails. .

I also have a back area to my condo and that area is covered with brown dirt, green moss and a few strands of grass. My HOA and management company refuse to fix my back yard even though I pay my maintenance fee on time monthly. I decided it wasn't worth the misery to live here and I bought a home in Sept. 2008. The person who wanted to buy my condo changed their mind when they saw the condition of the back area of my condo as it was truly a mess and I do not blame them.

I am ready to list my property with a real estate agent but before I got a chance to list it, the HOA and mgm. person decided to change my roof which had a 40 year guarantee and was at that time 21 years old and still under guarantee. I was forced to get 7 new skylights that turned out to be the cheapest ones made by Velux. The mgm. person would never inform us of the skylights that were going to replace our upscale skylights. I fought the replacement of the skylights but the lawyer for the Enclave wrote a letter to Con. Affairs saying that the professional engineer said the skylights had to be replaced. I thought the decision was wrong but who I am to go against an engineer as I have no training and only common sense. . The Velux $225 retail skylights replaced upscale skylights that today have to be custom made. I refused to pay for the skylights because they are not equal to the value of the ones removed and they actually turned out to be defective with condensation between the glass.

Before the new skylights were completely finished, two leaked and ruined my living room furniture & bedroom custom made bedspread; but the lawyer for the condo sent me a letter saying I was fabricating the damage when no one came to look at my furniture and bedspread.

The new skylights have lowered the price of my condo as it is no longer worth the money it was worth with the upscale skylights. Many interested buyers want the original condos with the upscale skylights, solid wood doors, brass hinges, etc. No other person living here with the original skylights all four condo owners had to replace are being forced to replace theirs possibly because of all the information I gave the HOA about how good they were as I bought my condo from the builder and was informed of all of these upgrades. The so called professional engineer had a degree in Zoology.

At this point right now, I own another home and this condo as I had a buyer for my condo who won't buy it now because of the condition of the grounds. I am paying taxes and upkeep on two homes. I was informed by the twp. engneer and a building inspector that my neighbor used when she moved next door that there is a drainage problem that might even effect the slab under my condo. .

The worse is that my Narcolepsy which was treated perfectly with medication is greatly affected by stress and I am no longer able to do anything I once enjoyed doing. I use to volunteer for Hospice, socialize with friends, go to plays, out to dinner, keep up my condo and even had a beautiful garden.

With the stress I have to live with right now, I am having a hard time getting out of bed and taking a shower as I am so very tired all the time. Narcolepsy can't handle stress and the medication doesn't work with great deals of stress. .

The management person has been telling contractors not to go near me or my daughter as we might file a sexual harassment suit against them and this is absolutely untrue.

About 5 years ago, one of the presidents of the HOA made a comment to my daughter that if she went out for a 2 drink minimum he would fix our property. My daughter made a comment that it was sexual harassment but that is all. The mgmt. person is telling contractors who tell her that something has to be fixed on our condo to stay away from us as we may file a sexual harassment suit against them. Honestly, the smart ones do not believe her but still they cannot repair anything without the management p

Question #14:

Question #15:

What percent of real estate agents are honest?

Question #16:

I have a tenant w/a 3 month lease, 1 month in, and they sabotaged the relationship and want to move penalty-fr?

penalty free.
Their beef was that 1 as in "one" real estate agent knocked on the door to show the house because the MLS listing was still hot. I had a buyer who defrauded the lender and the deal fell through at the last minute. But anyway, all the agent did was knock and politely ask to show the house.
Now the truth is, I'd like to sell the house but I had to rent it since the other buyer's offer fell through, so I offered my tenant a free amount of 1 month's rent if I did sell it, but then I decided I'd just take it off the market altogether. Well, then they changed their minds and said they wanted to move, AND they asked for no penalties.

What should I do? I can't afford to keep losing money on this house!

in real estate?

Question #20:

If I become a real estate agent, can I depend on some annual salary w/rental commission?

Some ppl say that all the top real estate agents are the ones who make the sales. Do they really hog it up that much so one cannot make a little $$$ during the year, like $30,000.?? I'd settle for that. Just wondering if a few bones would be thrown my way for 'SOME' type of income, yes? No?
AND WHAT ABOUT RENTAL commissions? Would I be able to count on this a LITTLE throughout the year? Perhaps $15,000. per year for that?
So, if I can count on a little something, I'm about to sign up for this class coming up. I may have a job lined up at Century21, a friend offered me, after I get licensed.
